HOW WE WORK
For clients undertaking a home build or remodel, the Conceptual Design phases represents an opportunity to bring an interior designer into the process. Our role in this stage of a project can take many forms: from high leve feedback after the blueprint and technical drawing reviews, to design of whole interior spaces and details.
Hello
Get to know your designers, and let them get to know you and your project, during an initial phone call where you’ll discuss your project and possible role.
Budget
Once we understand your project’s scope and your expectations of us, we will prepare an estimate of hours required to complete your project and review with you for your approval.
Design
This is the fun part! We will work with you, your architect, and/or your structural engineer to review or design an interior that meets your aesthetic and lifestyle needs.
Implement
With our review and design work complete, we’ll continue to coordinate with your builder/remodel team, making necessary adjustments along the way.
Our team is made up of skilled designers who strive to design creative solutions for our clients homes, offices and stores. With an experienced staff we provide full-design services from the drawing board to fluffing the last pillow.

Robb Cook
Design Principle – Executive Creative Director
Robb aims to create interiors that are as functional as they are beautiful. Robb oversees all i4DESIGN Studio projects and directs design and buying for the retail operations.
Robb has worked in the industry for 40+ years specializing in architectural detailing and design. Before creating i4DESIGN , Robb had his own visual design company in the Twin Cities. Building brands for the Mall of America, Shea Design and Lund’s & Byerly’s.
In Robb’s spare time he is a Foodie at heart along with researching creative projects and architecture. Robb brings design with personality.
Reesie Fasbender
Designer
Reesie is known affectionately in the studio by her co-workers and others as a "minimalist" which is her personal Design style. As one co-worker once asked her, "where is all your stuff?!" Her specialty is creative faux foliage designer. She truly enjoys this creative process and every single project whether it is a contemporary piece or traditional or anything in between. She looks forward to creating a unique special piece for your home!
Joan Knecht
Accountant - Office Manager
Joan is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She began her career with a local public accounting firm where she spent time in both the audit and tax practice for eleven years. Joan currently serves as Treasurer on the boards of the Grand Forks Foundation for Education and Bayview Shores Assn. She is a member of AICPA and the ND Society of CPAs. Joan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
The personal collections, artwork, and furnishings of our clients reflect the personality of their home. When you work with our design team we can make a cost effective plan including color selections, re-hanging artwork, new room arrangements and re-purposing spaces for new needs and goals.
